Un thriller SF ambitieux porté par Chris Pratt, J.K. Simmons, Yvonne Strahovski et Betty Gilpin.
Avec un emploi du temps gentiment allégé avec le report des Gardiens de la Galaxie 3, et le développement tardif du prochain Taylor Sheridan, Fast, Chris Pratt en profite donc pour filer en tant que lead du prochain long-métrage de Chris McKay (LEGO Batman), The Tomorrow War (ex- Ghost Draft), un thriller de science-fiction produit pat Skydance et Paramount.
Le scénario, rédigé par Zach Dean et Bill Dubuque, s'inscrit dans un avenir où l'humanité perd la guerre contre les extraterrestres.
Pour inverser la tendance, les scientifiques mobilisent des soldats du passé pour combattre la guerre.
Pourquoi pas, surtout que l'immense J.K. Simmons et les excellentes Yvonne Strahosvki et Betty Gilpin, révélation de la brillante GLOW, joueront les seconds couteaux de luxe (Simmons devrait camper le rôle du père du personnage de Pratt).
On dit encore plus pourquoi pas, surtout à la vue de cette première image officielle, balancée par Chris Pratt sur son compte Instagram.
